Below is a list of topics you will discuss and express your opinion. Remember there is no right or wrong answer. Use as many idiomatic expresses and synonyms as possible. Make sure you show your lexicon skills. Focus on your grammatical range and accuracy as well.

Questions to learn about your student’s experiences

  2. Share one of your favorite childhood memories. 

  3. What purchase have you made for less than $100 (amount is changeable) that has most positively impacted your life?

  4. What is the biggest lesson you have learned from a past failure or success?

  5. What new beliefs or habits have you developed in the last five years?

  6. What are some bad advice or recommendations that you often hear in your profession? 

  7. When you feel overwhelmed or stressed, what do you do?

  8. What do you like the most and least about the city you live in?

  9. What was the worst job you have ever had?

  10. What’s been your proudest accomplishment in life so far?

  4. What is your favorite type of gift to receive and to give? 

  5. After a long day, do you prefer to hang out with friends or spend time alone?
