A Bit About Me

Philip Anthony Lujan is an accomplished English language educator and entrepreneur with 17+ years of experience teaching ESL across the U.S., Colombia, and Asia. Founder & CEO of Academic Tutors USA since 2009, he specializes in curriculum design and teacher training for A1–C1 learners. Holding Cambridge TKT certifications, a 120-hour TESOL certificate, and pursuing the Advanced Assessment Practitioner Award (AAPA), Philip currently serves as English Professor at University of San José in Bogotá while pursuing USC's MAT-TESOL program to advance equitable assessment practices and ethical AI integration in global language education.
